Jhirna Zone is one of the most popular safari regions among the available ecotourism zones of the Jim Corbett National Park. The Corbett National Park is fragmented into six different tourism zone to which Jhirna zone was added later in 1994. With the objective to expand the Corbett Tiger reserve, the agricultural region of the Jhirna village and other two nearby villages relocated to some other nearby place were added in the reserve zones.
